Hi, welcome to our web site! My name is Connie Huffman and I am the Executive Director of Hi-Line’s Help for Abused Spouses. I have been working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims for over 20 years. I started out as a volunteer, then became Co-Director. In 1994 I was hired as the Executive Director. Besides those duties I also continue to be a victim advocate, legal advocate and child advocate. Our staff is small, so most of the staff are cross-trained. I have attended the Federal Law Enforcement "Train The Trainer" and am a STAR Trainer [Small Town and Rural]. I have been very active in the state coalition and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Montana Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence. I have been in Who's Who of Professional Business Women and received the Soroptomist Women Helping Women Award and was also the recipient of the 2007 Montana Victim Advocate of the Year Award. |

Hi-Line's Help for Abused Spouses is an organization committed to eliminating personal and societal violence by providing immediate crisis intervention and continued support for victims of domestic, sexual violence and child abuse. We cooperate with existing agencies and organizations to provide services to families experiencing abuse. HLHAS strives to educate the public about prevention and intervention, which we believe is the key to breaking the cycle of violence. GOALS: ~ To provide alternatives to victims of domestic and sexual violence and child abuse. ~Coordinate with other service providers in the service area. ~Create public awareness that domestic and sexual violence and child abuse exist, that the causes are known and services are available. ~Continue to educate ourselves internally, both as an organization and individually, to all issues surrounding domestic and sexual violence and child abuse. |

My name is Shoshana D. Munson. I married my prince charming, Eric, in August 2001. We have one daughter, Aisha. I attended Northwest College (now Northwest University) for 1 year (96-97). Since then, I have been involved in my churches in many different avenues. At Columbia Heights Assembly of God in Longview, WA, I was a youth leader. At Canby Assembly of God in Canby, OR, I was a youth pastor's wife, and now senior pastor's wife at Chester Assembly of God in Chester, MT. I got my start in bookkeeping at my job with Jerri J. Hi! My name is Cindy Larson and I have been the Volunteer/CCR Coordinator as well as a victim advocate here at HLHAS since March of 2007. I had spent much of my professional life prior to that time as the owner/operator of a child care facility and was ready for something new when I joined the staff. Continuing to work with women and children appealed to me and here I am! While most of my college experience is in the field of early childhood education, I¢m looking forward to expanding into other areas that impact families, as well. I have a son, age 22, and a daughter, age 19, who will both be continuing their college educations in the coming year. |
