If you are currently in an abusive relationship, be aware that your abuser can track what you habe viewing on the internet on a home computer. For your own safety, it is best to take extra precautions to remove your internet history.
To remove the trace of your visit to this or any other website:
Internet Explorer Users:
Open your browser, click on "Tools", "Internet Options" and click on "Delete History" or "Delete Browsing History"
Netscape Users:
Open your browser, click on "Edit", "Preferences" and click on "Clear History". Also, click on " Clear Location Bar".
Please Note:
A computer user with a higher computer skill level will still be able to track what websites you have been viewing. For you optimal safety, we advise you to use a different computer such as one located at your local library.
Email is NOT a secure way to communicate with us because most email systems store the sent emails that can be later retrieved by your abuser.
However, HLHAS provide a "Contact Us" form, which will send a message to us without leaving a trace on your computer.
